Nice broker, horrible driver

Robert at Ameristar was great, very professional to deal with.

The actual transport company, JCA auto transport, was HORRIBLE.

They called Wed afternoon to say that they would be here Thursday afternoon so I took off work and waited. They called late on Thursday afternoon to say that they wouldn't be here until Friday afternoon...really guys? I understand that there's a window, but lets communicate better -1 star but not that big of a deal.

Friday afternoon I go ahead and help them out by driving 30 miles south to get the car. They show up and demand more money than what is on the paperwork I have. I ask them for a reason or a contract that shows why the increase...they dont' have anything. I ask them to hold on while I contact Robert at Ameristar or my sister (her car that she shipped across the country). They don't wait, instead they jump back in the car to put it back on the truck, and in the process sit on and crush my sunglasses. Then their owner, Juan, screams obscenities at me on the phone when I call to tell him that I'm upset that my sunglasses were broken by his driver.

Can people like this really function in the adult world? How do they make money? IF you decide to work with Ameristar, I highly recommend that you stipulate that they not use JCA.
