$100 and 2 weeks wasted

The company said they would have my vehicle on the truck and to my destination in a few days. 2 1/2 weeks later and lots of wasted time and they kept the $100 deposit for their service or "lack of" service, what a scam. They are "brokers" and just give you the run around.

Hi JB, Your order was dispatched to a driver on 01/19/17 12:49 pm. We called you and provided you the carriers Information (Names, phones numbers payments and schedule). On 01/20/17 12:42 pm the carrier advised us that the roads leading to Puyallup, WA were closed due to weather conditions. Adams Transporting is the company that was assigned to you. The driver did go all the way to Washington and waited a couple of days to be able to pass through but was unable to and had to turn back along with other vehicles. They also called the pick-up location to advice of this matter. Due to the weather and closed roads a lot of carriers were in this position unless they were already in Washington. On the 01/23/17 12:29 pm customer service called to advice you of the situation and that we would follow up with a new driver or as to when the driver that was already waiting would be able to enter the state of Washington. On the 01/23/17 3:33 pm you spoke to customer service on status and we explained to you the weather issue again, and answered your questions. On 01/24/17 12:46 pm you called us to advise us that you had gone with a company that already had a driver in Washington. Every time you spoke to my customer service representative, he was very polite and informative and answered any questions you had. Because there was a delay due to weather and drivers had to turn back does not mean that customer service was not knowledgeable, prompt, and informative. We were in contact with you the entire time. During winter seasons these things tend to happen and we work our best to coordinate to schedules and requests. Please have in mind JB that we have to also follow company policies and we followed it to the dot and so we kept working to coordinate a new driver as we did. We take your review as a reminder to be better prepared and keep helping our customers and carriers as best as we can during the winter seasons. JB being a brokers in not a bad thing, we provide great service to many many customers, dealerships and other companies all over the country and out of the many vehicles we transported that week, only two were delayed, yours and another customers. Over all I would say we do a very good job working with customers and their requests. Thank you for your time JB.
