I booked the order on March 1. The car was picked up on March 2 and was delivered on March 11. The credit card was charged 150.00 only after the pickup date was confirmed and I paid the balance of 775.00 in cash to the driver upon delivery. I couldn't have scripted it better. No fuss and no issues at all.
Contrast that with the experience below.
AUTOTRAIL: I originally attempted to ship my 1996 Honda Accord with Autotrail Transport. Even before I signed the contract, they had charged me 940.00 and then faxed me the contract and the charge slip to sign. Something in the contract caught my eye which stated that I would have to pay cash to the truck driver when the car is dropped off. THIS IS IN ADDITION TO THE MONEY THEY CHARGED ME. Not liking the terms, I decided to investigate the firm and found horrible reviews on this site. I called them back and cancelled the order within and after more than 5 weeks, I am still trying to get my money back them.
