Great company and driver

After a couple of years of research, I purchased a 1985 Mercedes 300d from eBay. It was a new experience for me and a little intimidating to say the least. I had originally planned to fly into Texas and pick the car up, but my wife suggested that I at least look into having the car shipped. I had a friend that had a car shipped here to Kentucky from Arizona and he was a wealth of information about the process and "why" shipping shold be a consideration.

I then proceeded to obtain quotes for shipping the car from Texas to Kentucky. I got a number of quotes from a number of shippers. America's Choice was not the lowest or the highest, but seemed to be reputable and easy to deal with. From my first phone call, I talked with a polite, knowledgeable representative, Janelle Dahlgren, who immediately set my mind at easy about using their services. I set up the shipping and she put my ordery into their system. This was on a Tuesday, August 15, 2005.

Within a couple of days, I received an e-mail as well as a call that the car would be picked up on Thursday, August 18. On Friday, I received a call from Erich, the transport driver, who told me his location and his estimated arrival time here in Kentucky, Monday, August 22. He also gave me his cell phone number so that I could call him at any time to check on his location. He was an extremely courteous and helpful young man.

Then on Saturday, Erich called me with some "bad" news. His transport trailer had developed some cracks and he would be a bit late delivering my car. He estimated that it might be "late" Monday afternoon (still August 22) because he had to make arrangements to get the trailer repaired. Monday arrived and Erich called about 9:00 am and he was about an hour away! He had managed to get his trailer repaired and still made his original delivery date and time! We met at a truck stop (there was no way he could do a door-door delivery where I live) and within 10 minutes, I had my car!

Erich also made me feel good about my purchase because he mentioned that it was probably one of the cleanest and best looking of these that he had seen. He said that he had been under the car a number of times (while loading/unloading the transport) and that the car had always started well and ran good.

I could not be happier with my decision to have the car shipped and using America's Choice Auto Movers to transport my "new toy". I would use them again with confidence if the need came up.
