I contacted America's Choice Auto Movers after reading the many positive reviews on this website. When I first contacted them, they were VERY friendly. I called them several months in advance of my move to ensure that our 2 cars would arrive from VA to NV safely and on time. Our cars were scheduled to be picked up from our home by the 2nd of July. We were leaving the state to move into our new home in NV on the 4th of July. However, they were were unable to find a carrier for us. So last minute, we had to drive our car 2.5 hours to some relatives' house so that they could keep the cars until ACA could find a carrier.

After we arrived in NV, we had to rent a car for WEEKS. I called ACA every single day (sometimes a couple of times a day) to see what the situation was. They were always very friendly, but I got the same answer: they just couldn't find a carrier to pick up our cars.

Anyway, to make a long story short, we spent several hundred dollars on a rental car, until FINALLY our cars were picked up -- THREE WEEKS longer than anticipated. If you read the fine print of their contract, they say that they don't guarantee timely delivery b/c of stuff like weather, traffic, etc... ANd I understand that concept. But they weren't able to deliver on the service they supposedly provide. Our cars just weren't picked up for weeks b/c they couldn't find a carrier. It wasn't because of weather or any other "act of God."

Our cars did arrive safely and without a scratch, but I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!

We do admit that this particular move took longer then most moves for pickup. This customer states that we did not deliver” as promised”; however I have to say that we disagree with her. We do not promise any pick up or delivery within a certain time period. We ask each customer to allow up to 10 days to schedule a truck and after the 10 day period each order can be cancelled without a cancellation fee if we are unable to find a carrier. This customer declined to cancel the order. We went out of our way to make sure that this customer got her vehicles as quick as possible. This customer placed her order to be moved during a holiday (July 4th) and in the middle of the busiest season. She was informed months ahead of time that this move may take longer then normal. We tried our hardest to please this customer; we even took our administrative fee and offered it to the driver to try to expedite things. We spent several hours working on this particular order and spoke with the customer daily, sometimes 2-3 time in one day. In the end, this move took a total of 4 weeks for both pick up and delivery. This is only 10 days longer then our normal pick up and delivery time. We feel that the total delivery time was not unreasonable and we did everything in our power to try to satisfy this customer. The most important thing is, her vehicle did arrive safely and without a scratch!
