Hello,
My sister shipped us her car because she was purchasing her dream car- a BMW (one of the 300 sport series) and wanted to keep it in the family. This car had to be shipped from CA to MI so we knew this would be a 6-8 day trip. NO problem there.

Per my sister, the driver was not reachable for a few days so the pick up for the car was a few days behind the schedule she had set out for him. She was a little perturbed by it, but all was well with us here in MI. We rented a car for a week b/c it wouldn't get here in time. That's even okay b/c things do happen to put you behind schedule. My only complaint is that we were under the impression that the shipping company would be American Auto Transportation, not American Auto Transport, Inc. I guess going through a broker and or 3rd party means you don't know for sure who is really shipping the vehicle. Absolute clarity has to be given to the customer when you are doing business across the country.

We went to go get certified funds with the company name 'American Auto Transportation'. Driver told us the name of his company and that this was wrong, then we had to run around to get the Cash On Delivery b/c this could not be accepted and we had to have the car. It was the evening when the car arrived and our bank was closed so that was a little discomforting. Well, everything is okay now b/c we went to the bank to get that check voided. That was close, especially if we didn't have the funds available.
