Not a professional organization

After searching through multiple quotes from transport companies, it was apparant that American Auto Relocation Professionals had the lowest quote, and appeared to be a decent company. I was helped promptly after inquiring about the quote, and felt that things were going smoothly as I paid a $150 deposit for the order.

We scheduled a date, Thursday, for the car to be picked up, but it was then pushed back to
Friday, then Saturday, then Wednesday, then the following Friday. So I cancelled.

My frustration stemmed from the apparant lack of customer service, and explanation as to why they could not pickup my car. They never answer the phone, I tried to call repeatedly only to be passed on to "Mike", or "Mark" who never answers the phone, and is supposedly organizing the pickup, and was supposed to be calling me back regarding the order, but never once did.

My deposit was only refunded $75, and when I rebutted, they claimed my case would be sent to
"review". This was total BS, and I never heard from them again. It was in the contract that there is a $75 cancellation fee, but I would assume that this would be do to the customers default,
not the transporter.

In a nutshell this is a sub-par company. Maybe they can broker the transport of some cars here and there, but just look at their feedback, it speaks for itself. If you have a choice, pick a top rated company in this forum.

We truly apologized to Mr. Logan, but he booked this improperly. We did not know he needed a specific date and this was booked as an estimated pick up date with a 5 to 8 day window. Obviously there was miscommunication between the both of us but we can only be guided by what the customer specifically agrees to in his contract as far as pick up timeframes. We did have a driver about 8 hours away when he cancelled, and that left us with an empty spot on our truck. The cancellation fee stands, however I expressed to the client that he could apply that fee towards any future move and I would also give him a 15% discount.
