WARNING! Although written in the contract, it is not verbally explained that during the summer months cancellations of drivers often take place. One has to be flexible with the date of pick-up. I scheduled my car to be picked up on the 28th of June but it was not picked up until July 9th. I was then surprised by the extra $50 fuel surcharge.

During the time when I was waiting for the cancellations to be rescheduled, I did not hear back from the company as to what was going on. The company never notified me of the cancellations; we had to call the drivers because they were subcontracted. I'm guessing that American Auto Relocators have had a lot of complaints. When I had to make changes of locations for pick-up and delivery, I received no confirmations. Few calls were returned but I did receive emails including this one:

"First of all ,the extra $50 was a Federal Fuel Surcharge, as explained in your contract. Second, the contract you have SPECIFICALLY says "estimated" ship date, and the timing information is UNDERLINED.
I apologize that you feel this way, but since you refuse to remove the review, I will not ask accounting to give you a refund (it would have come out of my own pocket!)."

My sister had posted another review prior to this one because she had a bad experience speaking with the driver from Best Transport. In our experience, we had terrible customer service. I would not recommend this company.

We tried to pick this car up twice, but she had left the car with her sister who barely spoke english. When we finally got it loaded we had it delivered within 2 days. There was a fuel surcharge, as I explain to all my clients. The fiel went up almost $0.45 cents during the time that we were attempting to pick up and finally delivered.
