I first contacted American Auto Moving on August 1st, 2008, I was in a bind, I was transferring from Mississippi to my new duty station in Washington state and needed my 1976 Ford F150 truck moved. I needed to report for work by the 11th. I contacted Eli for a quote and asked for pick up about the 8th of August, Eli suggested the 5th since a truck would be in the area. Agreeing I sent my Credit card information to him, he called me back after 5 minutes saying it was declined, so I called the card company. Image my surprise when they told me that AA Moving tried to charge $7,950.00 instead of the initial down payment of$ 795.00, that was the first sign I should not have gone with them. But I did. Cleared up the initial payment and than awaited pick up on the 5th. By 430PM that day, I received no phone call and no pick up. I called and was told by Roxan that the driver could come as late as 1030PM. But by 1100PM that night no one came. On the 6th I started calling and was passed between Roxan and another young woman who told me they were surprised I had not gotten a call from the driver but they would check and call me back. 2 hours later no one had called, so I called. They said driver would be there tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow came and went with no calls and no pick up. So I started call American Auto Moving, and I started gewtting the run around . On the morning of the 8th I finally got Eli on the phone and asked for a refund. He became rude and accused me of harrassing his employees and said I owed penalties for Canceling.
Long story short I had to go thru my Credit card Co. for more than a month to revise charges
and they let Eli keep $100.00! I feel scammed.
