IN THE TRUCK DRIVER'S MERCY.....

My experience with Ambela Inc was a total nightmare. I do not even know where to begin. I actually paid the services of Bluestar Auto Movers under Jay M and this other female lady assistant of his named Nicole. Bluestar Automovers where professional and prompt with their business. They laid the cards down, not promising anything that they knew they would not deliver. I have to hand them that. The only thing that I think that they should work on to improve their future negotiations is choosing the carrier service that would do their business in their behalf because if this other company messes up, Bluesta's reputation is affected as well and this is what has happened.
To cut the long story short, my minivan was scheduled to arrive (the earliest according to Bluestar) is on a Friday. Tuesday of the same week, I receive a call from the driver of the open truck named El. He said that he might arrive either on a Thursday or on a Friday depending on the traffic but he wanted to give me a heads up just so I would be ready. That was great news for me because Bluestar and Ambela Inc did deliver! He told me that he would give me a call a day before he arrives just so I can prepare. That is when the nightmare started.
I receive a call Thursday @ 1pm from El saying that he would arrive 8pm of the same night and that I should meet him in Newark NJ which was 20miles away from where I live. I told him that its not that simple for me to just go to Newark 8pm of the same evening because besides the fact that this was not the agreement (agreement was door to door delivery), I was in the middle of a very hectic day at work with deadlines piled up and I did not have the cash in hand (of course it was at home with my wife who was expecting him) nor the transportation to get to a place that I have never been to or had the clue of how to get there. I couldn't come up with $1350 just like that because its not a small amount and I never carry cash with me and only my credit cards. After much squabbling and argument with El, i give in and try to borrow money from my officemates, people I know who lived close by. Coming up with $1350 is not an easy task and at the very last minute (which was almost 8pm) a friend of mine had the money and I had to swallow my pride and borrow from him and promised him that I would pay him back the very next day. When I had the money in hand and asked another big favor from another friend to drive me to Newark, El calls me again for the nth time screaming saying that if i didnt get to Newark in 15mins he would leave and I should be expecting my car Tuesday the next week!! I then realized that I was totally at his mercy. I needed my car so bad, and I didnt want to wait another 5 days. I told him that it was his fault in the first place and that the agreement was door to door and he gave excuses such as he was given tickets before which already happened twice because trucks are not allowed in the area that I live in. And if he got caught, I should pay him $650 for the ticket etc. He was giving all these excuses and i decided not to waste my time and just head to Newark.
The whole exprience was really a nightmare. I felt embarrased from borrowing money from other people. The story is too long for me to tell it here and there were more that happened. Bottom line is, stay away from AMBELA INC especially the driver named El. I could barely understand his accent i think he is originally from Georgia, Russia. And here's another thing, eversince that horrible day I counted 5 open trucks carrying as much as 10 cars in the area I live in.
