Alpine Transport Inc. and Dave Fountain...a True 10/10

I don't generally write reviews about service...good or bad. However, my experience with Dave Fountain at Alpine Transport certainly deserves this exception.

I purchased a 69 Camaro on August 20th which needed to be transported from Kuna Idaho to Charlotte NC...not a common route by any stretch. Getting quotes was not difficult. I must have had 30 emails and at least 10 or 15 phone calls asking for my business. Not feeling entirely comfortable with the conflicting information I was being told, I researched Alpine Transport on this site, and called Dave Fountain on Sat. August 22nd and left a message. Within 30 min. Dave called me back and although he was at home with his family he took the time to explain the process, the realistic timing, and the approximate cost of that route. Although cost was important, I told him my biggest concerns were safety of the vehicle, reliability of the transport carrier and on-going communication. He totally understood and promised me he'd call me Monday afternoon with an update of what he could do for me. True to his word, he called Monday and confirmed he had located a reliable driver that Alpine had used numerous times. The car could be picked up on Tuesday if that would work for me. Additionally, the price was $100 less than he had told me to expect.

The transport showed up Tuesday right on time, and a documented detailed inspection was done by Gary the Driver, and the Seller of the vehicle. The car left Kuna on the 25th and was delivered to me safe and sound in Charlotte at noon on Monday the 31st...exactly when Dave said it would. The Driver and I walked through the inspection report together and and everything was perfect!

I never paid a dime upfront, and paid the Driver in full when the car was safe in my possession.
The service I received from Dave was simply outstanding. He was honest, straightforward and extremely professional. He communicated with me throughout the process and really cared about me and my car. Certainly one of the best... if not the best in the business.

I'm sure there are numerous carriers out there that are good...it just seems like it's hard to be sure who they are. If you want to save yourself a lot of time and aggravation, I suggest that you give Dave Fountain a call. I know he'll treat you as well as he did me.

Thanks Bob for the 5 Stars, leaving such a tremendous review and testimonial, I sincerely appreciate the compliments and I enjoyed working with you as well. This review means a lot as you told me up front you are very hard to impress and normally don't give reviews. I take my job extremely serious and treat every customer the way I want to be treated and the customer service I expect when I'm needing a service provided. There's far too many order takers out there anymore and no customer service after the sale. I know speaking with you after delivery you love your new 69 Camaro, the car is beautiful in the pics you sent me. I sure hope you have many years of fun with it.
