I interviewed about 8 trans companies, and during the sales pitch, Dave at Alpine Transport Inc, was not overly aggressive, saying just enough to make me feel comfortable with the inherent limitations of dealing with the "black hole" variables of internet/phone communications. The quoted price, 1550.00/total, fell in the 2/5ths area, with the low being 1250, and the high at 2650. The vehicle (an ebay purchase) in question, a 1953 Dodge M-37, had, sight unseen, become very valuable to me, and I was "concerned" (extremely), with it's well being during the prospective transport from CA to MA. Dave's network of transporters were/are (one truck coast to coast) "car guys" i.e., careful, understanding and professional. Upon arrival (to the day, to the hour), seeing the condition of the transporter rig (clean), and watching them carefully back the M-37 off, in a light rain, set my mind at ease. I have had dealings with several good trans companies over the past twenty years, but this company, Alpine Transport Inc, is now my first choice in vehicle transport. Furthermore, if they can't move a vehicle on my schedule (highly unlikely), before choosing brand X, I will wait until they can. Thanks Dave/Alpine Transport, job well done!

Thanks Mike for taking the time out of your busy flight schedule to leave a nice review and all the kind words. I know talking with you and in your review you put a lot of time not only in purchasing your new M-37 but also the extensive research involved into the transport of it. I sure appreciate that you gave us the opportunity when you've had numerous other companies over the years that you could've went with, I appreciate it! From our conversation after delivery it sounds like all of your research paid off with the quality of the M-37 and your compliments on the phone and in this review of our transport service.
