Alpine is both a carrier and a broker. None of their own trucks were currently running the route I needed to transport my 04 Monte Carlo from Las Vegas to Baltimore, so Dave contacted other companies he works with to find a truck to transport my car. I needed the car delivered during a specific time frame, but was flexible on pickup. He was able to find a driver running that route to pickup and deliver my car in the needed timeframe. The driver ended up picking up a night early, which was just fine, and he delivered it on the same day we had been told to expect. Dave and the driver kept me updated on delivery time and location, so I always knew when my car would arrive. Dave was honest about pricing. I had been quoted by others at $200 less, but those quotes seemed impossibly low. Dave informed me how others companies bait and hook you with low quotes, then add charges at delivery, saying there was no way even a tiny subcompact could be transported so cheaply (& a Monte Carlo is not a small car). At first, he gave me a estimated range, but when he called to say he'd found a truck and to give me the final cost, it ended up being at the bottom of the original range. I couldn't be happier with Alpine's service and the driver's (from Atlant Transportation) timeliness. Thank you so much!

Ashley, Thank You for taking the time out of your busy schedule to leave a nice and descriptive review. Again I want to thank your husband for his military service and so glad I could help you with shipping out to Fort Meade. As you detailed our original conversation there is a majority of the brokers who give the impossibly low quotes and simply can't come through. We always tell the customer realistic pricing upfront to get the car moved in a timely manner especially when you're on a strict schedule. If we can't transport it with our trucks than we work with very close relationships to get the job done. Thanks again and enjoy your time in Maryland.
