I bought a 71 cutlass off Ebay on Feb 7th for a Birthday gift for myself. I checked the shipping quote supplied by ebay an Alpine Auto's quote seemed resonable so I contacted them and talked with Nick on Feb 10th he seemed knowledgable taking my order telling me " delivery will be 6-10 days." One week later called to check the status of the delivery, i was advised that the person that i bought the car from was out of town and they are trying to get another truck routed there NOW. I emailed the person i bought the car from to verify the story, he stated "they called on sunday the 13th and said they will be there on the 16th they never showed and never called back." I was getting worried now my bithday was on the 27th and no transport was in sight. I called again on the 23rd and talked with Nick, now this time he didn't seem to bright stumbling over his words and talking in circles about it has been escalated to the escalation team which consist of the owner Cindy and him self. " What does escalated mean? It means its high priority and the owner and myself will be working on this.. I called back on the 25th at this point i have zero tolerance for nosense, "I would like to talk to Cindy Please", she is on another line she will have to call you back, waited about five hrs still no call, i am presistant so i called back, "she is on the other line Mr. Beavers you are the next on her call back list. 30 minutes later the phone ring i run to answer miss the call, so i called right back one minute later from my cell phone, " she just called you Mr. Beavers is this the number you can be reached at. She did call back, i missed that call also, she left a message and if i had any more questions to contact Nick. This was a total nightmare. Please stop low balling your prices to get customers!!!!!! Ebay should not be associated with this company. This was one of the worst Birthday in my 38 years on earth.
