My initial quote was $695, but the car was a week late, so I had to get a rental car, which cost me an additional $230. My total ended up being $925 (including the rental). Apparently the driver they hired had 3 stolen cars on it, and the police stopped him in Oakland. Totally sketchy. They did not compensate me for the week-late arrival, nor were they willing to work with me on the price. They suck, and I would go with someone else if the cost factor is the same.

We do everything possible to accommodate all of our customer`s needs. Although Michelle chose the stand-by service, her vehicle was picked up within 24 hours of her first available pick up date. The carrier, Exit 15 Trucking, was scheduled to pick up 3 vehicles from an auction in IL as well. When he arrived at the auction, the driver unknowingly picked up 3 of the wrong vehicles that the auction released to him. Once the management at the auction realized a mistake was made on their end, they called the DOT and requested for the truck to be pulled over and return with the three vehicles. Due to the fact that the driver was pulled over on a weekend, he was set behind in his deliveries by a few days. However, we were notified immediately after and arranged for another driver from Exit 15 Trucking to pick up and deliver Michelle`s vehicle as soon as possible. The average transit time from IL to CA is 5-10 days and Michelle`s vehicle was delivered within this time frame. Although most vehicles are delivered closer to the minimum, some vehicles do take a bit longer and in this case it took a total of 10 days for delivery due to the incident with the auction. As with every one of our customer`s, we were in constant communication with Michelle notifying her of the status of her vehicle shipment.
