I decided to book with Allegiance Auto Shipping after I was told by their salesman "Marc" that if I booked he could have my car moved in 24-48 hours. I booked on 7/14/08, paid my deposit and signed their contract the next morning. I was told they would contact me via email once they found a carrier. On 7/18/08 I sent them an email asking why I hadn't heard anything. I got a call a few hours later saying they found a carrier and they would be able to move my car for an extra $170. I commented back that they should move the vehicle for the agreed amount. They said that in the contract I signed it stated that they had up to 14 days to move the vehicle and anything they promised verbally would not be upheld. Marc also stated that he was told by his supervisor that he was told to promise 24-48 hour pickup even though they knew they could not move a car in that time frame. I hung up then decided to call back and talk to a supervisor to see if they would be willing to split the cost. I spoke with a person named "Guy", he could not answer any direct questions. He would spin everything and change the subject the best he could. We finished the phone call without coming to an agreement. "Guy" called me back minutes later and accepted that I pay $85 extra to move the vehicle the following day.

Pickup day: A gentleman shows up to pick up the car in an enclosed snow mobile trailer with 3-4' ramps. The ramps break under the weight of the car, the guy wants to flip them upside down and drive the car over a lip on the ramp. Luckily the person on site tells him no way and refuses to let him load it. Hours later he returns with the ramps fixed and does get the car loaded. The car delivered 2 days later in good shape.

Moral of the story: If these guys promise anything not in their contract do not trust them, get everything in writing. Also take pics or video while loading and unloading vehicle as I did!

At Allegiance Auto Shipping we offer several types of services including our flexible service which is generally chosen when trying to save money. This service does not guarantee a specific pick up date although it does of course remain a priority. We did explain to the customer the estimated pick up time frame at the time the order was placed, however he was disappointed that the driver was only available to pick up his vehicle after 5 days instead of 2 as he was hoping for. We certainly understand how important it is to keep our customers happy, which is why even after splitting the additional cost with the customer in an effort to expedite the service, we did make several attempts to resolve all issues.
