My Brother went through Momentum Transport to dispatch this outfit they quoted him $1291 which he prepaid in advance before anything was done. The driver for 'Allways Auto Transporting' called and postponed pick up 5 times before he even got there on 05/28/2010. Upon arrival driver Truck had one of those magnetic signs on his door that said 'Best Connection Logistics' out of Reno Nevada, maybe that means nothing other then not to do business with them either but I wonder if the sign covered up 'Allways Auto Transporting' hmmm, ah well, buy the time I get done explaining what happened you'll agree either one of these can go to hell. The drive said that he required a $1000 dollar check before he could deliver, so assume this was just a security measure or that Momentum Transport had not charged him the full amount he cut the driver a check as requested. (Curious now that I mention it, who he wrote the check out too). Driver showed up in Rolla, MO 3 days later, Driver called and said that he was all out of drive time and was waiting for me to come get my vehicle at a Loves truck stop 9 miles away from my home (home being the contracted destination) I told him that that was not an option since my vehicle was illegal to drive on public roads and that after he got his rest to call me "anytime" and I would be ready to receive it at my home, then he continued to argue that his load was an open load and extremely long, I assured him that there was easy access to my home and that as a manner a fact I just had a moving van with a 53 foot trailer pulled by a semi truck with a over sized sleeper drop off a load for me just two days prior with ease. The driver insisted that his load was much bigger and the my street had too many trees (which of course he has never seen my street),.. I said ok,.. you can take it too my work where they Manufacture mobile homes that was only 5 minutes from my home just off the same Hwy that I lived on (Hwy 72). He threatened to abandon my vehicle at the truck stop and continue with the rest of his important cargo and hung up. I tried calling Momentum, but they just had me on hold for over 45 minutes, I was preparing to report this to the Highway patrol and the Sheriff department when he called back to let me know that he had all ready unloaded my vehicle in a parking lot about 2 minutes from my home and was waiting for me to come sign a paper. I went ahead and picked up my vehicle and drove it home. Shortly after that my Brother called and told me that after reviewing his bank statement on-line Momentum and already received full payment 3 days before before the driver had even picked up the vehicle. He said he immediately put a stop payment on the check but wasn't sure if he caught it in time. the next day he text-ed me and told me that the driver had attempted to cash his check but failed.
