I thought I would go against another persons bad review of this place (also known as Auto Cars Transport) and ship my car with them.

I was quoted by the company that the price was 695.00 and there was a truck available for pick-up on the upcoming saturday (it was currently thursday). I asked if this was a contract type deal/ brokerage company and salesperson (John) advised that they own their own trucks. That sold me and I was given a quote and advised that pick-up would be Saturday.

I called (Reggie) on Friday to see if there was a confirmed time on Saturay yet and he advised dispatch would call me back. I received no call and they were closed when I tried to call back. On Saturday, the company was closed and my Father had to wait all day at the house, waiting on a call or a truck. No truck, no call. I waited until Monday to call back and got Reggie again who advised me that my car had been shipped (it was still sitting in the driveway). He then transferred me to Alex in dispatch who advised he would call the driver back and get back with me. No call back, so I proceeded to call back three times and promised each time that Alex would call me back. Finally, later in the afternoon, Alex called me back, but said he was not aware of my situation that he deals with "200 phonecalls a day". I re-educated him on it and he finally remembered. He advised that he talked with the driver and the driver advised he called and said he was overbooked (neither cell phone has any missed calls or voicemails) I advised that I would like to get this situation solved asap and that I was not interested in paying 695.00 for the service if it was not completed by tomorrow.

Alex then argued with me and advised that he has no control over the rates that the drivers charge (I.e. they are not their trucks as stated apparently). I was quite upset at this point from arguing with Alex and asked to speak with a manager. He advised, very boldly, that he was the OWNER of the company. I then asked to speak to a sales person, or anyone who was not going to make me mad! He advised that he was not going to do that. The conversation ended and I filed via e-mail a cancellation notice and asked for a full refund.

They sent a notice that we would be charged 195.00 for breach of contract. I flied a BBB report and also advised that they also breached contract by not contacting us for a change in service date. (noted under pick-up and delivery).

You can feel free to see the BBB report at BBB.org.
