My car got from A to Z OK, but just not a good experience at all. Highlights include: I had to give my credit card info three times to 2 different people & was not told about needing $795 in cash or cashier's check upon delivery until the DRIVER called me the DAY OF delivery (I thought that was what the credit card was for) - surprise! At the beginning of the process, it was a struggle to get the sales guy to call or email me back once I told them I was ready to ship. Then, after giving the initial info over the phone, I must have got 10 emails and 15 phone calls over the next couple of days nickle and diming me for more info (some of it the SAME questions)! Holy cow - can someone write something down?! I gave it verbally (because that's what the guy wanted), then he sends me blank forms that asks the SAME questions and tells me to fill them in (why didn't he fill it in when we were on the phone the first time for 30 min? What was he doing during that phone call?), then he calls me literally 5 times in a 45 min period (I know it was 45 min because it started when I left work on my drive home - 45 min) to ask me if I've sent him the forms yet! I gave him the SAME answer all 5 times - "as soon as I get home in 45 min - I am DRIVING in a car". Again, what exactly does that guy do? Why didn't he fill in the forms with the info I ALREADY gave him? Then there was the confusion of 3 people I ended up dealing with over the course of the shipment - the sales guy, the customer service lady, and then the truck driver (who doesn't work for them). I thought I'd have one POC. Same questions, same answers...don't you guys talk to each other?? Delivery: tried to confirm about 3 times with 2 different people if they would, in fact, deliver on Monday Labor Day (that's the orig date I got). Never got an answer. My last favorite was after they gave me a tip to coord the shipment of my vehicle from Hawaii to CA myself because it would save me money. OK, I appreciated that (if it's true). So, after I do that AND send them the Matson shipping # (twice) the guy comes back to me and says "ok, give us a call when it gets to CA & we'll send the truck to pick it up". ?? So I point out, "isn't that what I give you the Matson shipping # for - so you can go ahead and check yourself? And then you go ahead and coord your trucker to pick it up all by yourself?" Again, what does that guy do exactly?
