I contacted this company in late May. I put down the broker fee deposit, and was quoted $1000.00 upon drop off. Peter the manager assured me all would be smooth, I explained this was my first car transport and I was nervous. He emailed me the price quote and we were booked. My small SUV crossover was supposed to be picked up Saturday, however they arrived Wednesday (no big deal). I rushed home and got ready. Two men came to look over my vehicle, they were very meticulous about each small scratch. We filled out a report, and I signed (there was no price on the contract at this time, I was told by George, the man who picked up the vehicle that the broker handles it). As I was going inside, I noticed my VIN number and vehicle type had also been left blank. My dad went back and ask them to fill it out, George said he would need a new ticket and would have to call the office. After some talking, he did fill it out. I contacted Peter a few times and was never able to get in touch with him easily. I was afraid my car was lost. He answered my email and told me my car would be there Thursday or Friday. Then on Friday I received an email saying the car would be here on Saturday. On Friday I received a call from I assume the drivers dispatch? It was a woman named Lucy. She informed me that the price is $1450 and if I did not pay they would with hold and store my vehicle. I contacted Peter via email and called him regarding the price discrepancy. He emailed me back later that night saying he would fix it and get back to me. I never heard from him again. My car arrived on Saturday and was covered in scratches, the document given to my by the pick up clearly showed that these scratches were not pre existing. There was also a dent on the top of the vehicle. The driver first used some kind of liquid and rag to try to get out the scratches. Both sides of my car had many scratches going down both side of the body. I asked him to call the office to see what the next step was. He called someone, I'm not sure who, and they told me that the scratches and dent were already there but they forgot to write it down during pick up... this I knew was not true. Then the person on the phone said they would take my car to be repaired, I did not want my car going back into their custody for fear they would charge me higher rates and storage fees. The driver offered me $400.00 for the damage. I had to explain to him how to write it on the bill so reflect the money taken off was for damage, with much hesitation he wrote the bill. I gave him $1050.00 (all recorded on the receipt)
In conclusion, The price promised changed drastically and there was nothing I could do about it if I wanted my car, the customer service was terrible and I was very surprised I did not hear back from Peter. My car is now being fixed of the scratches, but they dent cannot be popped out, so if I repaired it I would have to have it filled and the top of my car repainted. I'm very disappointed. I contacted the BBB and I hope no one has these issues in the future.
