We are a military family had to transport one of our vehicles from NC to TN. I have looked around so many companies and it was just getting ridiculous. Decided to go with this one company but when I look for their review, it was just horrible so we decided to go with All Coast Auto.
Jose sounded VERY nice and honest. He told me that their deposit was $200 but some of it goes to the driver so we don't get screwed over with our price change when we pick up our vehicle. A little bit higher than the other companies but since he was talking my ears off about how this company cares and knows about the military family move, they were willing to go extra miles for them. Oh let's not forget that the owner of the company is a retired Marine Corp. I don't know how much of that was true.

So we went ahead and signed the contract and paid our deposit. HE PROMISED us for the 18th of Oct as our pick up date because there's a truck in our area. We had to leave by the 20th of Oct. This is a military move so they knew that we had a very tight schedule/window. As soon as they got their deposit, we didn't hear from them at all. 17th came by, nothing 18th came by NOTHING. I finally called him on the 19th to see what was going on. I could not get a hold of him at all. He was always on the other line with a customer. I left messages after messages for him to give me a call to figure this thing out. NOTHING! This one time they transferred me to his line and it went to this automated thing telling me that their office was closed and it was 340pm. I have talked to so many different people and they all PROMISED that someone will call us back... NOTHING! 19th just went by like that. 20th came around, I finally got a hold of Helen (dispatch) she told me that there was a truck on the 18th but they did not put the order in! WHAT THE HECK?! She told me that she did not know when the next available pick up date was going to be. We had to find someone to leave our vehicle and keys with right away because we had to LEAVE that day. I FINALLY got a hold of Jose, his answer?? Oh let me figure this out and I Will call you RIGHT BACK. Jose, I still haven't heard from you. THANKS FOR THAT BUDDY.

Helen was actually helpful and NICE she should get a job at somewhere better. She is wasting her talent. She gave me the number to the central dispatch to remove our names for other companies which we had no idea about. She still didn't us a driver but oh well. 21st came around, still NOTHING. Jose still hasn't called back. Got to love that right? You take your share of money, you are just done with that customer... Anyway, we finally got a phone call from the DRIVER's wife who was so sweet and kind telling me that they were going to deliver our truck the next day. Maybe 3 hours later I got a call from this company telling me that they found someone and it was going to be $375 NOT $300 as they promised. Oh so I am guessing that Jose was full of crap when he told me that their deposit is a bit higher to prevent that kind of things. ARE YOU FRIGGING KIDDING ME?!

We got our truck a day earlier then we expected. Wes Gordon the driver was SO GREAT! His wife was so awesome as well. We paid him $375, nothing was damaged, everything was perfect. LET'S REMEMBER THAT it was the All Coast AUTO who DELIVERED Our vehicle. IT WAS WES GORDON who actually made it a day earlier than we expected. He even waited 4 hours for us to show up because we weren't even in the city. He understood!!!!

To be honest, I will NEVER use or recommend All Coast Auto to any of our friends (Military friends). I am also thinking about taking this up to transportation (military) to tell people NOT to use this company. Military families do have a VERY tight schedule when it comes to moving. As soon as we found out that we HAD to move our vehicle, WE found a company to do the job and signed the contract the next day so THEY had enough time to make this happen. Don't EVEN point fingers at me about this All Coast Auto. YOU made your PROMISE. WE FOLLOWED YOUR OPINIONS and SIGNED AND PAID OUR DEPOSIT.

I am sorry but you guys did screw up BIG TIME. Especially you JOSE!!! Remember how you were telling me that you can't make everyone happy?? Now I see WHY. I was nothing but NICE and POLITE TO YOU even when YOU were avoiding US after you got your money. Even when WE had to leave NC we still didn't SCREAM at you. Thank you guys for "transferring our phone calls or taking messages". It seriously reminded me of that credit card commercial (Peggy). Thank you guys for really ripping us off and not keeping your promise. NEVER AGAIN!!!

We move hundred s of vehicles each year for military personnel and families. Thankfully, most of them are highly trained and understand LOGISTICS. There are a number of key factors that this customer (Jenny) not (Jamie) as ficticiously posted on this review failed to mention. For one, they had their vehicle posted with numerous companies on Central Dispatch. This is the national database used to pair transport loads listed by brokers with actual carrier/drivers. As this customer mentioned, our dispatch Mgr., Helen had to provide this customer with the contact telephone number to Central Dispatch to have them request their posted orders with other broker companies be removed from Central Dispatch. If a vehicle is listed with numerous brokers, a driver will not pick up that order. Although this customer states in this complaint that they had no idea their vehicle was posted with other brokers, the truth of the matter is that vehicles posted by brokers require very specific information that must be provided in detail by this customer. In this case, the customer was just attempting to get the lowest price possible and had admitted to Jose, no other company had been able to get the vehicle picked up. This customer is now stating they cancelled with one company when they became nervous after reading the reviews of these other companies. We know the names of the other broker companies that had these listings but we will not post their company names. If we did, you would most likely find this customer trashed these companies on Transport Reviews as well. We do not PROIMISE pick up or delivery on SPECIFIC dates and or times. This is CLEARLY written in our Terms and conditions which is signed by all customers PRIOR to placing their order. In this case, Jose told the customer we would do our best to accommodate their requested date as much as possible and transport a vehicle that no other company had been able to accomplish for them. The customer then placed another restriction by not allowing us to have a carrier pick up this vehicle until October 18th. No sooner and no later! If you know you are leaving town on the 20th and you already had issues with other broker/companies, why in the world would your box yourself in to a 2 day window? Even if a driver was scheduled to pick the vehicle on the exact day of the Oct 18th, what would be your contingency plan if the driver had a mechanical breakdown that held him up for several days during repair? Again, this customer who claims to be in the military surprisingly has no comprehension of LOGISTICS. This customer has threatened to report us to the Military Transport. When they do; we hope they ask them how long it takes to move actual military vehicles. We often transport military vehicles for the military. The red tape alone requires up to 3 weeks just obtaining transport approval. We do not avoid our customers phone calls. We have no need to. This customer was calling our office 10 times a day (we have the call log to prove it) and each time we explained that unlike taxi cabs or limousines that can make specific pick-up times, carriers are transporting 9-10 vehicles at a time and are picking them up and dropping them off at different states and cities. All Coast Auto Transport located a driver and got a job done when other companies had failed for this customer. It may have not been on the EXACT day this customer was attempting to box a carrier driver in to, but it was done within an extremely reasonable time frame. At ALL COAST AUTO TRANSPORT, we are all VERY proud of our military and employ many retired members of all branches. Our company was founded by a World War II veteran who chose at the age of 18 to enlist in the Army during a time of war rather than wait to be drafted.
