I contacted AAAT and talked to Mike because of his positive reviews. Mike was very knowledgeable and experienced plus easy to work with. We set up a price at $600 and an additional $85 for a Saturday pickup. As time got closer to Saturday, I found out Mike went on vacation, so I worked with Victoria who was good to work with. She called me Friday and left a message saying they had no carrier for my vehicle pickup. When I heard the phone message an hour later I was very concerned. I called back and some guy said he thought the price was too low, but he said he would contract Mike who was on vacation. The guy from AAAT called me back with Mike’s message that Mike said he had a lot of contacts; he has been doing this for a long time; and he could make it happen for the price. Sounded good, but I was still really nervous. About 2 hours later, AAAT called me back and they said they had a carrier. The carrier called me that Friday night and stated they were happy to pick my car up the next day and they gave me the drivers phone number and said I can call the driver anytime…good news and very pleased with the carrier thus far. I called the driver Saturday morning and he said he would be there. Later that morning, the driver called me because of traffic delays that he was going to be an hour late getting there, but at this point I was just happy he was going to be there. When the driver arrived, he was professional and experienced. He had been delivering cars for years and he said he was going to drop my car off the next day…a very pleasant surprise. The driver kept me informed and definitely knew what he was doing. My old classic Plymouth is now sitting in its new home in my driveway. I am very happy with the carrier and especially pleased with the driver. I was nervous at first that the Saturday pickup was not going to happen, but I guess Mike has positive reviews for a reason plus said he was going to make it happen….it did. At the end of the day, I am very pleased with the results.
