My contact person assurred me that if he had a 3-day window, our car could be picked up with less than one week's notice. This, along with their long time history of business in our area prompted us to choose them. As time approached for our departure from the state I kept calling to see if we had someone to pick up the car. The company kicked in part of their commission and we added some money in an attempt to appeal to carriers who were not yet agreeing to haul the car. Although we really liked the transport drivers, they had utterly no knowledge of our our close to Washington, D.C. location and no GPS. Our 11 pm pick-up turned into a 2 am search for the missing car carrier whose driver could not follow directions. Our directionally challenged drivers had the same problem in Florida. We cannot complain as it all worked out in the end with everyone trying to make this all work in a very short time frame. The drivers were so nice that you just couldn't be angry or upset. I know this may sound odd, but we would use these brokers again.
