Terrible Experience

My experience with 3/12 Transportation, which was engaged by AAAT was nothing short of a nightmare. My car arrived 8 days after the estimated shipment date, with a tar like substance covering the trunk, and two deep gouges in the back. I received explanations as to why the car was late, including a driver strike, a breakdown in the trunk, and the driver sleeping late (yes, he really told me this). While I understand things happen, each time I was given another estimated shipping date/time, which the company failed to meet. The driver and dispatcher, Charlene, at 3/12 were very hard to get a hold of, and did not return calls in a timely fashion. One positive in my experience was that Mike from AAAT was responsive and helpful in contacting 3/12 and moving things along.

I chose AAAT based on positive reviews on this website, and would hope that my experience was an exception not the norm. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this company, but hope that they closely monitor the performance of their related companies in the future.

We have had great experiences with 3/12 Transportation and this was very atypical as far as our long standing relationship with them. That is why we entrusted them to transport the car for you. We are sorry that your vehicle was delayed but stayed in contact with you as much as possible to keep you in the loop. It's unfortunate that your car was delayed as a result of the carrier breaking down 150 miles away from your home. However the positive was that he held onto the car until you arrived back from being out of town. I can understand your negative rating for 3/12 but you stated that Mike was the only positive thing to come out of the transport. One or two stars would have been appreciated as you are rating All America Auto Transport in conjunction with 3/12, but we understand if you choose not too. Thanks for your response as we do weight our customers feedback on the carriers we conduct business with. AAAT
