Learned my lesson the hard way!!

Let just say first that there are a lot of crooked people in the auto transport industry! When I learned that I was being deployed (Marines) I needed to get my truck moved to Florida so my family could take care of it in my absence. I got online and requested a free quote from one site and then it seemed like instantly my e-mail and phone was flooding with brokers trying to lure me in. I had 14 quotes total to choose from! All of them ranged from $800-$1,600. I was low on cash so I obviously went with the lowest price. They "guaranteed" me a pick-up date and took my deposit. They never showed up to pick-up my truck and won't return my calls or e-mails now!! I still haven't heard from them after over 4 weeks of calls and e-mails and have yet to receive a refund!! I then moved up the price list a few spots and was promised the world again and once again I bought into their LIES!!! After 5 days of no news I called them and they proceeded to get very rude with me over the phone. When I asked them to just cancel my order they said no problem and told me "your deposit will just be your cancellation fee"..

By this time I was ready to scream!! Then I received a call from Ricky at All Aboard Transportation. I was hesitant to listen to what he had to say at first until he asked if I had any concerns or questions for him about shipping my car. No one else that I'd talked to seemed to care what was on my mind. He simply laid the process out for me so that I clearly understood every detail of the shipping process. He was very friendly and helpful and really put me at ease.. especially when he explained that he didn't want any money from me until he had met my needs and found a carrier for my truck! He knew that his price was a little higher than some of the quotes I had, but he explained to me why as well.. He was dead-on too! The other companies I talked to simply tricked me out of my deposit and left me for dead. He gave me a reasonable price and had someone at my house to pick up my truck within 36 hrs. The truck arrived today in perfect condition and the driver he assigned couldn't have been nicer.

Moral of the story is... If you want to lose 3-4 deposits before you actually get you car moved then shop around for the lowest price. If you want fast, excellent, and above all honest customer service then skip the drama and call the guys at All Aboard Transportation(Ricky). I will definitely be using them again and very highly recommend them to everyone!
