My experience is the same verse same song as everyone else. This is interesting timing for these people to pickup and leave since on Sunday June 19, 2005 at 8:30 pm CST I left a REALLY HOT message on their then-working answering machine that I was sick of all the BS and from today forward they could take the matter up with my attorney. First thing this am I call---and their gone!!! (I also wrote "FRED" that I was filing suit via email-no response, but then did I really expect one??? NO!)

An interesting note here: on the end that the car was picked up, I called and got the name and number of the company who picked up my vehicle. Turns out a wrecking company picked it up (is this standard??) on 5/26 and it is STILL at their facility!!! Now, this was good luck on my part seeing how it was picked up in Lexington Park, MD and is now in storage in Gaithersburg, MD (all in the DC area). The ONLY way I was able to find this out is because the lady at point A still had the receipt from pickup. There is no way I could have found this out since it is in some place nobody would have thought of looking, so maybe this will help somebody else locate their car. (Be sure to tell the wrecking company not to release it to ANYONE representing you w/o your consent!!!)

Lucky me, I WAS able to get their new phone # from a source that asked not to be named. It is 1-866-998-3200. THIS NUMBER DOES WORK! I called to (1) verify the number and (2) gripe. They told me some song and dance, then came directly here to post the number (plus a few more complaints!) FINALLY, I received an email from them (and I quote):

"it is a shame that people like cannot understand the problems that we go
through with the truckers, to defame us after we tried to explain the
story to you, which was true, even though you dont believe it, you still
went on to cause trouble.it is a shame when we tried to help the customer
and make ammends for the trucker that the broker gets blamed."

Can you believe that?!? Sorry, ALS guys, but I'm not alone in "defaming" you. There are 25 OTHER people here who are also HELPING me "defame" you! If they really want me to believe their story and sincerity, then they will pay my $250 in storage fees at the towing facility they took it to! (And when hell freezes over, you all will know why!)
