This was my first experience using a "broker" to arrange vehicle transport. In previous vehicle moves, I made the arrangements directly with the transport companies.

Based upon my experiences, it took too long to arrange the vehicle pickup, especially considering that a broker would have access to multiple transports. Also, it is my opinion that the "rock bottom" price quote is misleading and should just not be offered. My price paid was $50 more than the initial quote.

The driver of the transport was extremely capable and customer service oriented. Once the transport was assigned and Rick (the driver) was engaged in the delivery, it became successful and he did a great job.

Mr. Kirby chose the Rock Bottom shipping option because he was not in a hurry and wanted to save money. Most vehicles are picked up within the 1-7 days. But we do stress this is an average pickup window. After placing his order he expressed that he wanted a quicker pick up. We gave him a courtesy call to let him know we had a carrier that could pick up his vehicle but their rate was slightly higher than the quoted amount. He had the option to turn this down, but he chose to pay the extra amount. It is also in our terms and conditions that we will call you if a carrier needs more than the quoted amount and give you the option of going with that carrier or not. He always had a choice. We wish Mr. Kirby the very best.
