On the whole, Agape did a good job according to what is stated in their terms and conditions. I chose them because they had a good price and many great reviews. Most of the reviews I read raved about how quickly their cars were picked up (a lot of them said next day or within 2-3 days of calling) and I had a small window for pick up so I hoped that I would have a similar experience. I placed my order a week before my first available pick up day and hoped that the advance notice would help as well. Unfortunately in my case it did not. At the end of the week (which was the day before my first available pick up day) I still had not been given any information on the trucking company or schedule, so I sent an email to Agape asking for status. They said they hadn't found anyone yet, but were working on it. On the fourth day of available pickup (9 days after placing my order) I still had not heard from them so I sent another email requesting info, to which they replied that they were working very hard to find a carrier and would let me know as soon as possible. While I was a bit frustrated that I still hadn't heard from them, I do give them credit for their quick responses to all my inquiries. The next day was really our last chance because we had to leave for our flight out and only had someone available to be there for pickup through that evening. In the morning on that last day (fifth available day) Agape called and said they had someone that could pick it up that same day, But that carrier wanted $50 more than we were originally quoted. Of course technically we had the "choice" of not using that carrier and just waiting to find one who would do it for the quoted price. However, we were at the end of our timeline and could not wait for the next one to come along and so we had to agree to the increase. The driver called later that morning and said they should arrive around 4pm. They did not actually arrive until about 9pm that night and had to do the inspection in the dark (they didn't have a flashlight), so we had to hope there would be no disagreements about the condition later.
The delivery estimate they gave us was 4-5, days which would have been the following Sunday or Monday. We didn’t hear anything until Monday, but instead of calling to arrange a meeting place as we expected they said sorry we broke down in Reno and didn’t expect the parts for the repair until Thursday and then would need another 3 days after that to get to Colorado. Of course we understand these things happen, but we were very disappointed that we heard nothing about this issue until the day they should have been delivering the car, especially since they were in Reno which means the break down occurred less than 4 hours after they picked up the vehicle and this was 5 days later! Agape apologized for the lack of communication from the driver, but stated that they had not been informed either.
The rest of the transaction went well, as the car arrived at the revised delivery time and was not damaged. The driver was polite and delivery was made without issue. So things eventually turned out fine and everyone was friendly and responsive through the process, but we did have to scramble to get a rental car for the unexpected extra days of transport and we still had to pay the carrier the extra $50. I realize nothing that happened was outside of the written terms and conditions, however I want to make sure that other people reading all the reviews of quick turnaround realize that it doesn’t always happen that fast and to keep in mind that there may be unexpected costs (in our case between the rental car and the price increase it was over $300 more than we thought it would be). So it was difficult for me to rate the experience because Agape was not technically at fault for any of the problems or increased expenses we incurred (plus these things can and I am sure do happen with any company out there), and yet it was not a good experience for us. So in the end I had to leave it with an average rating and just hope that providing the details of my experience will be useful to others and allow them to prepare for some of the unforeseen possibilities.

We thank Nicole for her honest review of her experience. We understand her frustration with the process. And as Nicole stated, most of our customers experience very quick pickup times. However, we do stress to our customers that our average pickup window is 1-7 days from the first available date. We know that some customers are on tight schedules and would like their vehicles picked up in a shorter time frame. We do everything we can to accommodate these restrictions, but we cannot guarantee specific pickup and delivery dates. That is why we work with our customers to have a backup plan. We appreciate Nicoles understanding and patience. It was very unfortunate that the carrier had mechanical issues which delayed the estimated delivery date. It is for this reason all dates have to be estimated. We want Nicole to know we wish her the very best and we appreciate her business very much.
