Fairly satisfied

My contacts at Agape were helpful and courteous. Agape's greatest virtue was connecting me with a carrier within an hour or two of my initial call. (I had been waiting over a week for a competing company, Cascade, to identify a carrier before giving up on them.) Price was similar to that of other transport companies.

All contact after Day 1 was with the carrier, AAAC, whose driver was professional and who kept us informed of his schedule. The carrier completed the cross-country transport on time, but delivery was two days delayed because of an equipment malfunction that prevented him from taking cars off his truck. This was clearly beyond his control and I don't fault the carrier for the inconvenience.

The one unwelcome surprise: I had thought the carrier would pick up my car near my house and deliver it near my destination. Instead, on both ends I had to drive the car to a truckstop over five miles away, so the carrier had space to load/unload the car. This of course requires that you have someone who can drive another car with you to both the pickup and delivery points. If transport companies advised customers in advance of this possibility, there'd be greater satisfaction.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We understand that having to make arrangements to meet a carrier can be somewhat of an inconvenience. Most carriers do transport door to door. But there are times when other arrangements have to be made. This information is made available to our customers in the terms and conditions, which states under item 2 ... There may be times when the carrier will not be able to drive into certain destinations (door to door) and will arrange with you to meet at a gas station, grocery store, etc. Thank you so much for choosing Agape Auto Transport. We wish you the very best.
