I chose AGAPE to ship my car from Vancouver WA to Austin TX due to good reviews, although I found some other better prices out there. I was disappointed with the carrier, GABRIEL CAR Trans, but not with AGAPE. The people in AGAPE that I talked to are nice, but there was only so much that they could do. The car was picked up on-time (by George who is very nice too, btw) and supposed to be delivered on Thursday, June 5. I called them on Thursday and they said that they had mechanical problems with their truck and the delivery will be postponed until Monday morning. I was fine with it since I think that no body can predict any mechanical failures ahead of time.

I gave the driver a call back on Monday and he said it will be postponed again until Wednesday night or Thursday morning but he didn’t come. He then promised me again to deliver my car on Thursday night, but never came. The driver (Vitaly) was very hard to be contacted so I had to call the office/AGAPE to have him call me back. Alex, the manager of GABRIEL, promised to give me $175 to compensate my car rental’s fee. The driver finally called me on Friday night @11pm and said that he would be here in couple hours.. He finally called me back at 4am and he said that he would deliver my car soon. I asked him to wait until ~7-8am, but he disagreed and pretty rude about it. My car looked fine, but I noticed that the gas tank was empty (it was less than half tank of gas before). The driver just gave me $100 discount and asked me to call the office in the morning to clarify everything. I called Alex in the afternoon and he said that he could mail a check or something next week.

I called Alex couple days later to follow up with that, but Alex said the driver was the owner of the company so I need to call the driver to get my discount.. I called the driver, and he was very rude and unprofessional about it. I called Alex back and he said that he could not do anything about it if the driver changed his mind.. There were so many dramas behind it, and it made me give up pursuing this matter further. I called AGAPE and they said they could not do anything about it.

I just found an article that had a really bad experience with GABRIEL a while ago:

I should have done my research beforehand. If I have known this earlier, I won’t use GABRIEL’s to ship my car. Hopefully I am the last customer that had bad experience with GABRIL Car Trans.
