A few things about my experience with Agape transport:

- I received a call from Agape company (after paying the $280 deposit for transporting my car) - the call was made at 12 (noon), I was not able to pick up the call so I checked the voice mailbox around 12:15pm. In the message, the agent said that they found a trucker to deliver my truck, but it had to be done by 1pm (note: on the same day, meaning I had one hour notice).

- I called them back and told them that I'm at work and that it is impossible for me to get home within the 1 hour, and asked if the pick up could be post-poned for a few hours so I can wrap up at work and go home. THey said NO. I was told that if I was not able to make it by 1pm that very same day, they would penalize me by making me pay a "RESCHEDULING FEE". I was really upset because it made absolutely no sense for them to EXPECT their customers to be sitting at home 24/7 waiting for an 'available trucker,' and when we cannot rush home within the very short amount of time given, they try to take more money from you by penalizing you.

OF NOTE, Brandie (the agent) did NOTHING besides taking my $280 deposit and assigned me a trucker. It is very sad but she has done NO follow-up at all after she took my $280 and demanded that I would have to pay the "rescheduling fee" if i couldnt make it within that one hour. From that point on, I was on my own, calling the truckers and begging them to find another trucker to pick up my car on another day...etc. I made at least 15 calls in total before my car got picked up on another day - and again, Brandie did no follow-up, none at all. Zero.

I have a few friends who have used other transport companies, and after sharing with them my story, I was very disappointed to find that Agape is the worst experience amongst us all.

P.S. Motion Auto Carriers is the trucking company; they were also very unreasonable in terms of timeframe of pick up and timeframe of delivery. They refused to pick up my car and demanded me to drive 20 miles from my home to drop off my car. Also, they gave a 1 hour window of delivery and when it was difficult for the receiving side (me), all they said was "no, we cannot do it." Did not try to find a solution. In the end, they did not arrive until 6 hours after the time that they had demanded us to be ready for delivery.

In conclusion, this experience was extremely, extremely stressful.

Connie, thank you for taking the time to post a review. We like to know the feedback from our customers. First, we process a $180 deposit for all of our orders when the order is placed. This is in accordance to our Terms and Conditions. We apologize you encountered any stress during the transport. Our goal is to provide assistance during a move or transport to reduce any stress. We try our best to provide as much notice when a carrier is assigned. We notify you just as soon as we have assigned the carrier and the carrier will call ahead to make direct arrangements, usually 4-6 hours ahead of time. In the rare occasion when a carrier is in the area, there may not be 4-6 hours notice. This is a rare situation. The carriers understand everyone works or has a schedule to abide by. They try to make arrangements accordingly. We by no way expect our customers to remain at home or postpone any plans for the pickup time frame. The carrier wants to get the vehicle picked up as quickly as possible, but is also understanding of schedules. Thank you again for your comments. If we can assist you further, please let us know.
