I spoke to the representative about when would be a good time to have our vehicle picked up and she told me that it would be better to put a pick up date of sooner rather than later. Within 24 hours I received an e-mail with the pick up and drop of dates. The pick up was fine, but the drop off was too soon. I called the company and told them I needed to hold off for a few days. She told me the truck driver would hold my car, which would be better for me instead of paying the $50.00 rescheudling fee. I agreed and the truck driver told me to call the day before I got to my final destination so he could set up the delivery for the following day. Agape also advertises door to door service. I ended up going more than 15 miles out of my way to drop off my vehicle. I chose Agape in the first place because of the door to door advertisement. Anyway, I called the truck driver a day before I arrive at my destination as I was instructed. He said he would have my car to me the next day sometime in the afternoon. To make a long story short, it was very difficult to get in touch with the driver and the owner of the truck throughout the entire transaction. When things did not go in favor of the owner of the truck he started yelling at me and was very rude. I had to call Agape Auto Transport to speak to a customer service person because I could not get in touch with the truck owner, but the woman I spoke to was very rude and condescending. I finally received my vehicle a day and 1/2 later than was promised. Do NOT use this company. They are a little cheaper than most, but not worth it at all. People are rude, times are late, and you'll have to go out of your way to get your vehicle to them and back to yourself when picking it up. I'm seriously considering writing the Better Business Bureau about this company because I ended up having to pay for a car rental and taxi fees because I did not have my car for more than 36 hours after the promised time.

We want to start off by apologizing for the treatment you received by Agape. It is never our intent to be rude or condescending to our customers. We will do everything possible to keep this from happening in the future. This vehicle was assigned for transportation in one day and was picked up within 3 days of the first available date provided to us by the customer. After we got this scheduled, the customer called us and said she did not want it delivered this early. Delivery restrictions were never discussed with us until after we had the vehicle set up for transport. The carrier was very accommodating and said he would store the vehicle at NO additional cost. We apologize on behalf of the driver. There is no excuse for yelling at a customer. We will address this with the owner. As for having to meet the driver on the pickup end of the transport, we explain that service is door-to-door or as close as possible. Sometimes it is necessary for the customer to meet the driver, especially if the truck is a 52’ long truck. It can be hard for them to maneuver onto narrow roads or in congested communities. We go over this at the time of the order and it is also in the terms and conditions, which the customer read and signed. However, we are very sorry for your inconvenience. As for the delivery, the drivers do their very best to meet the times set up with the customer. But they can run into unavoidable situations that will delay them (traffic being at the top of the list). We are in very good standing with the Better Business Bureau and we are confident that this complaint will not taint our good reputation. We will continue to improve and learn from any complaints to ensure excellent customer service for all our customers.
