First I would like to mention the vehicle we are talking about, 1969 Ford Mustang inoperable was rusted, and had been sitting in a yard for years, and in such bad condition that you told us you don't even know if it can be restored. All transports ARE insured. Transports are insured and cover the carrier in case of negligence. Because insurance only covered negligence on the carriers behalf, any hood blowing off because the vehicle was in such bad condition would not be covered under insurance. Terry, We wish you would have called us about this. We have no record of this situation. We have spoken to the carrier this morning and they said that you were completely understanding on delivery and knew that the vehicle was in such bad condition that you were worried about the vehicle making it in one piece. For anyone who is reading this: If a vehicle is in a condition such as this one was please consider going enclosed so that if parts come off they wont be lost. Terry you mentioned not to use this service, Please keep in mind that if the hood wasn't in good condition or fastened down properly then it could have blown off with any carrier and not just the assigned carrier.
