We had issues finding a transporter company, but Jared convinced me to try cfrautodirect and this eventually turned out to be a complete disaster for me.
Jared was great with communication, and no issues with him, but CFR were a joke. They rescheduled the pick up twice. Then when the car was picked up, they provided me a delivery date. They told me to expect a call the day before delivery on a Friday. No call on expected date on the Thursday. I called CFR on the Friday and they told me the car was at the distribution center and would be delivered on the Saturday. They said the driver would call me on the Friday night between 6.00pm and 8.00pm and give me the time for the Saturday delivery. I never received any call on the Friday night. I called them again on Saturday. They said the car was not picked up and still pending a final transporter. They said it would be picked up first thing on the Monday and be delivered to be by noon on Monday. I again took another day off on the Monday. No call again.. I called 5x to the main office of CFR, eventually they admitted they did not have a driver or transporter to pick my car up. I asked where was the depot my car was at, they provided me the address and asked me if I could go and pick this car up. I ended up driving to the depot, and asking if my was car was there. Luckily the car was sitting in the car park and was able to do some documentation to get the car released and then drove it away. The car was very dirty and I could not see that it has lots of car chips all over the paint work until I washed it. I have no idea if I can claim for the damage as I drove it off the lot as I could not see the damage due to the car being so dirty.
In summary. No issues with Jared and his company, but the transporter company were terrible. Did not pick up on time, did not even delivery the car to me, I had to take 3 days off work and ended up driving to the depot to get my car and then the car was damaged with lots of stone chips that I could not see until the car was washed as the car was so filthy.
