Regarding the quote: I was quoted a price of $660 by Barry. I was specifically told that price included the 8% for tax and insurance. He also went on to say that there are no hidden fees - the price is the price.

READ YOUR CONTRACTS. Problem is they tell you one thing, assuming you'll probably sign the contract without reading. Pay particular attention to Section 2a and Section 3 in Paragraph 6 - Terms & Conditions Additional Information. Section 2a states that a fuel surcharge not to exceed 15% of the cost could be applied (trust me, it's applied no matter what). Section 3 states that the sales price excludes the additional 8% for full coverage insurance and tax.

Because Barry said many times that my price included the 8% for tax and insurance, I held them to it and Andy noted on the contract that my price included the 8%.

Regarding the transport: I was told by Barry that the vehicle would be picked up in Florida on July 5th and would arrive in Mass on July 10th at the latest. On the 3rd I was advised that due to the holiday weekend, it might not be picked up until the 7th or 8th. Vehicle wasn't picked up until the 12th and we received it on the 15th.

I did find Andy and the woman in customer service to be rude at times and they didn't do what they said they were going to do at all times, but if you're willing to put up with *****, they were the cheapest out of all the quotes I received.

Although, I also found out after signing the contract, that you can call these transport companies directly yourself and avoid the brokers fee (which are exactly what Advance Logistics is).

I will say that the company they used, Best Transport were much nicer to deal with, especially their driver Chris.

the shipping is clear that we can make no guarantee of pickup or delivery dates the trucks are not owned by us and we do not control them.This move was also made at a time when the snowbirds were coming home and the customer was told that it could take a longer than promised.The items in 2a and 6 are self explanatory. The customer was informed fully of any additional charges.
