My daughter was out in California trying out for a national sports team. To both our surprise, she made it! The downside being my fatherly duty to ship her car out for an extended stay. To complicate matters, it was Memorial Day Weekend.
My first step was to enter my information on one of the many websites to get quotes. Big mistake as my email and phone, even now several weeks after the car was delivered, remain full and ringing off the hook with offers and quotes and honestly all offers where within $50 and not worth the headache.
The only company you need to know and call when you have a car to ship is Ken at Advance Automotive Shipping. On Memorial Day Weekend, when all the other calls to shippers went unanswered, Ken picked up his while shopping with his family at a grocery store. Unheard of level of commitment and customer service in this day.
First thing Tuesday morning a friendly and professional driver was at my door and ready to transport the vehicle, but the Ken's customer service did not stop there. Throughout the 4-day transport he was available and responsive to any questions with the one I liked best being his deferral of any payment until I was satisfied with the service. I was so comfortable with Ken, I went ahead and authorized the complete payment so the driver would have it in his account as soon as the car was delivered....and I never do that with strangers or service, just a testament to, again, how comfortable I felt with Ken's professionalism and service.
The car will need to be shipped back in September and there's only one person and company I'll call...Ken at Advance Automotive Shipping. My only irk with this website is it only allows me to give him 5-Stars!
