We hired Ace Car Shipping to ship 2 cars in early November, 2009 (2009 ML350 and 2008 BMW 5 Series) from Southern to Northern CA. We were unaware that Ace (john franco (acecarshipping@hotmail.com)) was going to outsource the job to antoher company called Elite Auto World Transport (Bella 818 220 5877).
Not only were the cars picked up late and delivered late, they were both damaged - more than $10,000 in repairs. Because the cars were delivered late (dark outside, suburban streets), my husband did not see the damage to the cars (both on top / sunroofs damaged and massive dents and scratching) so we signed off on the paperwork stating that there wasn't damage. As soon as we realized what happened, we called John Franco of Ace Car Shipping. He basically told us that it wasn't his problem. He has refused to offer us any reimbursement for the damage that he caused to both of our new cars. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and hope that they will force Ace Car Shipping to reimburse us. DO NOT USE THEM, YOU WILL BE SORRY!
