Ace Auto Freight gave me a very competitive quote, which I should have realized was too good to be true.
Someone going by the name "Harry Paul" handled my order. I made arrangements for the pickup nearly a WEEK in advance. Late in the day the vehicle was supposed to be picked up, Harry called me to say that he couldn't find a driver to fulfill the order at the price quoted, and that the new price would be nearly DOUBLE the quoted price.
It seems like their scam is to lowball their quoted price to get business and then try to get the real price out of you at the last minute, when you don't have time to explore other options.
Also, I will say, a lot of these positive reviews look suspicious to me. I don't think they're real.
