Auto transport from CA to PA

NIGHTMARE STILL IN PROGRESS! I placed my order online for a transport cross country from CA to PA. Two days before the confirmed pick up date, I had to contact the company to see what the window of pick up would be (they never contacted ME- -I had to call THEM). I was told that the driver would contact me the day prior. When I did not hear from the driver, I called the company back and was told that "he was working on getting a driver." The order at this point was not even confirmed for the date originally scheduled! I was on the phone nearly all day on the date scheduled so that Chris could "locate a driver." At day's end I was told that the auto would be picked up on the next day "before 11 am PT." When 9 am PT rolled around and I never heard back, I called them once again and was told that the driver was rerouted and pick up would now be in 2 more days- -even though they knew I was leaving CA and would not be around. Come that day, there was still no pick up and Absolute had to reroute the order to Dependable Auto Shippers (without my consent or knowledge). My auto finally got picked up on Tues (after the original order date of the previous Friday) and was taken to a holding area in Los Angeles. On the following Tues, my car was still in the Dallas, TX area. I am so angry about this ordeal- - I hope I NEVER have to ship a car again because Dependable Auto has been as poor as Absolute. No one follows through on promises, communication is POOR- - but they are happy to take your payment AHEAD OF DELIVERY because Dependable won't do CODs. :-( This has been a complete nightmare to say the least and I am being kind here.

While we do everything to provide the best service to our customers, sometimes things just get screwed up. In this case, we had several driver cancellations and since we needed to move this vehicle asap, we turned it over to Dependable. Our goal was to get the vehicle there as quick as possible and we did what we could for this customer. We did not even charge her a fee, since it was our mistake.
