I recommend Absolute Transport to anyone shipping their car. It was not the cheapest--the cheapest was $625. Also, Absolute had a reasonable BBB report.
I did my transactions all on-line, until the final contract.
I asked for bids for the tramsport of my car; after I got over a dozen, I asked all responders if they wished to rebid--Absolute did with a note "when you are ready to do business, call." That was it--no more emails.
In the meantime, I had numerous phone calls and emails, some several times a day from some of the competion.
Once I decided to do business with Absolute; I let the others know---in a mass mailing--that I had signed on to have the car shipped with another carrier.
The carrier came for the car the first day of my one week window, and it was delivered in NC four days later, as the driver told me it would be.
That was over two weeks ago. I continued to get phone calls for another week plius from the competion; and I am still getting some email solicitations. I guess they did not get the memo, though they were on the mailing list.
The two things that impressed me with Absolute: Their BBB standing, and their one-time contact.
