I don't think some of the people who have left feedback for Able have given them a fair shake. One guy says he waited six weeks for them to find a carrier and then gave up. What people don't understand is that the transport company has no control over how soon the vehicle will be picked up. If the vehicle is not in an area in the common East-West flow (major cities on major routes) the carriers don't want to go out of their way to pick the vehicles up. Therefore, it takes a little longer to find someone who is wandering through that particular area AND heading in the correct direction. People, please, if you want a vehicle shipped, don't expect it to happen in 1 or 2 weeks. More common is going to be about 30 days from the time of order until the time of delivery with ANY carrier. Read through the reviews of the different companies, and you will discover that even the highest rated transporters occasionally have a dis-satisfied customer, usually because the shipment took too long for their liking. Then you have unforeseeable problems. The truck that was delivering my vehicle was hit by a car and took out his fender, bumper, front wheel and some steering parts. Still, the guy was back on the road in about 3 days. I am a truck driver by profession, and I know that it is a common thing to have problems, mechanical or otherwise, and to get back on the road in 3 days is a feat to be admired with these big Class 8 rigs. So my point is, find a transporter that you can trust to follow through, and you just sit back and don't sweat it. It might take 7 days, it might take 30 days. But you will get your vehicle, in good condition. Able Auto Transport is one of those carriers that I believe you can trust. EVERY TIME I called their customer service, my call was answered by a real person. They do every thing they can to get your car moved. Sometimes it takes awhile, relax, they will take care of it, and you will get your car in the same condition that it was picked up. Very conscientious people, always there to answer the phone when you call. Sometimes I thought that maybe they were giving me the runaround, because they always said they were working hard to find a carrier for me. But then, low and behold, they produced! You can trust these people, and their rates are good. If your in a HUGE hurry, call someone who can give you a guaranteed pickup date and pay the extra $300 or $400 dollars. If you want to get your vehicle delivered in good shape, and don't mind waiting 15-30 days, and you want a good price, don't hesitate to call Able!
