I realise all brokers are the same-whether it be IT consultant brokers or auto transport ones. Able auto promised me the car would reach me in 2-5 days depending on the location and it took them above two weeks. Well, couldn't blame the driver, he was driving the whole distance all alone and I would expect him to take atleast 7-8 days. But then Able auto had no need of making a false promise. I had paid the entire amount up ahead in full too. When the driver brought my car, he didn't have information from Able regarding my full payment and he demanded another $750 from me. I had to call up Able auto and they had to call up the transporters and they in turn had to call up the driver to let him know that I had paid the amount in full already. After that I call them up for a copy of my bill. I asked for an email with my bill attached and I didn't get it for three days. I then call them and ask them to fax the bill to me and that too doesn't happen. I have called them again and am now hoping that the fax / email would arrive atleast in the next 24 hrs. The customer service representatives are polite but then unfortunately nothing happens. The only reason why I gave them a rating of 1 and not zero is for selecting the right transporters - my car reached me without any scratches / dents (touchwood).

This customer’s vehicle was picked up in just two days. We never promised that it would take 2-5 days to come from GA to CA, that time from is just unreasonable. To go coast to coast, it takes an average of 10-12 days so the fact that it took less than that works our great for this customer. The reason there was confusion over the amount due is because this order was booked out to a transporter before we had all of his payment information. We sent the drivers dispatch office an updated order ticket showing that it was no longer a C.O.D., but the driver never got that info. This was cleared up with just one phone call. As for his receipt, we emailed and faxed it a number of times. We have no problems with our fax lines or our emails, so we are not sure why it took so many tries to get one to him.
