So it's been bordering 18 days and my nightmare with amko still continues.
So first I had a scheduled delivery for a Monday. As I was leaving on a plane for Tuesday morning. I called on a previous Friday and verified that the pickup would be on Monday. Mr.lee told me that it might be Tuesday. I then calmly explained that it MUST be Monday, and to this he said yes, yes, Monday, noon. So here I am on Monday. Truck ready to go. I call up amko and ask when they are going to be there. They tell me Tuesday !!!!!! Wtf. So after three hours of battling on the phone with them and my broker. The solution is that I have to drive my truck MySELF to their warehouse!! So 30 mins of driving later I get to the warehouse and just want this to be over. Mr.lee looks over my truck and then wants to see the bed. I show him. There are clothes. And random nick knacks in the bed, we both agreed it it is probably over 100 pounds. So now came the waiting game. One week later, my truck finally left California. 10 days to be precise. And another 8 days and here I am with no truck. They haven't called me and said one word. And when I did call them to see how everything was going. They told me that the truck was 1200 lbs overweight!!! I don't think so. My truck is a ford f 150. That's a half-ton pickup. Which is 1000 lbs. the math doesn't even make sense !!! There was not a lot of weight at all. And they needed to change an extra 600. HAH. Scam artists. Scum. And the best part about this all is. Now their phones are off, so neither me or my broker can't get in touch with them. I'll probably never see my truck again!!! Horrific experience. The east coast companies are way more upstanding. Give you updates on where your car is. Constant contact. Better prices. It's something about California that makes its business's shady. Maybe it's the welfare. Nobody has to care. Because they get free handouts anyways. Wonderful.

Alexander Berry, Thank you for the business and feedback. We strive to provide the best service possible with honesty and customer satisfaction as our top priorities. It is regretful that you had such an awful experience with us. We have local drivers do all our pickups and deliveries in California and in your case, I believe there was not an available driver to pick up your car at the time that you requested. We are always given a 2 day window before and after the estimated pickup dates, unless specifically stated. With your vehicle, it just had an estimated date and unfortunately we could not pick up on the exact day that you wished. Thank you for accommodating with our schedule and bringing the car to us yourself. Regarding the items in your vehicle, we do charge extra for vehicles that have an excess amount of items and the cost really depends on what you have in there. Before we picked up your vehicle, you asked us if you can have stuff in your vehicle. We said, yes as long as it is not too heavy and you told us there were only light stuff in there. When you brought it, we could not even check because you had nailed the back part shut so that we cannot open it. We took your word for it and put it on the truck. However, when we went to the weight station, we were over the weight limit by 1200lbs and it was your vehicle because no other vehicle had items inside and the weight of the other cars were all accounted for. They do not let trucks pass if the truck is overweight so we had to leave your car behind for the next truck. We charged you $600 not only for the overweight fee, but because we could not fully load our trucks twice. The first time was when we first went overweight and had to leave your vehicle behind. The second time was when we took your vehicle on a second truck but we were still overweight. Instead of leaving your vehicle in California for the second time, we delayed another customer s vehicle just to take yours. So unfortunately, your delivery was late because of the problems we encountered due to the items in your vehicle. We do our best to inform the customers that there are specific conditions in which to have items inside their vehicle. If these conditions are not met, we have to charge an extra fee. Thank you again for the feedback; we will use this information to improve our service in the future.
