I was very weary about using any transport company after some of the horror stories I read. I was very glad to go with AFT, because they seemed to go out of their way to make things of the utmost convenience to their customer, while having one of the best price quotes as well. After explaining to Andrew my moving date and situation, he even went out of his way to try to have my car picked up earlier (checking with me first to make sure it was okay go before my origin date). When the driver did not return his call, he told me that he didn't feel comfortable with someone who wasn't going to follow through, which I totally agreed with. When my car was picked up, I felt even more comfortable with the driver as he was very nice, and just in general came off very trustworthy. Both Andrew and the driver kept in constant contact with me as the vehicle was in transit. The only complaint I have was the day of pickup, the driver called me to let me know he was here and then explained that my drivers window was not going up. When I arrived to pick it up, he told me that it had not been like that for the majority of the trip he had just noticed it that morning. He suggested it may be due to frost, which is why I did not mention in the bill of lading. When my husband got home, it was then that we realized the window was totally out of its track. I really don't know what could have caused this, and I don't believe it had anything to do with AFT or the driver, but my father (who has been in the automotive industry for almost 30 years) told me that the only way it could have been that far off the track was if someone tried to break in. However, it was easily repaired. Being a military wife, I'm sure I'll have to use a car transport again and AFT Logistics will definitely be my first choice!

Vanessa, Hope all went well with the window and thanks for letting us know about it. Glad it was during transport. I want to personally let you know that a military wife I am here to support and help you when needed, without moving a car. Have a wonderful time in Washington, it truly is a wonderful place.
