Good price, poor communication

Had vehicle delivered from Edmonton to Vancouver. Called company several times before anyone would pick up. Made arrangements with Natalie, who said the vehicle would be delivered in 3-5 days. Was told to drop vehicle off at a motel near the airport. The desk clerk at the airport barely spoke English and didn't know much. I signed my name and contract number in a sheet of paper, but was not given a receipt. I did receive an invoice via email prior to this, however.

While waiting in Vancouver, I noticed the reviews and got nervous. The car was supposed to be shipped Thurs and I was expecting it Monday. When I got no progress report, I started calling Monday and Tuesday, but no one picked up. I then called the motel and asked the East Indian manager if the car was still there. He said it was, which got me infuriated, and called a friend to go pick it up.

Amazingly, I got an email from ABR later that day to say the car had arrived in Vancouver, and the next day I picked it up. Obviously the motel guy was a moron.

So overall, the car was only a couple of days late, and arrived undamaged (just dirty exterior from being shipped in an open truck).

The price was half the cost of other companies, and had the information and tracking flow been better, I would have been pleased.
