Got there, but damaged

They had first said they would be picking it up Saturday during the day, and I planned to be at home all day so that I would have no problems getting the car sent off. When they didn't show up, I called and they said that they would instead come by the next day. They ended up showing up about 8-9 pm, it was already completely dark, and had met me outside the apartment complex on the street where there weren't any lights.

I mention the situation because they refused to review my car for any marks or damage, because it was too dark. They assured me that they would still cover any damage incurred during the trip. I needed the car moved, and so I couldn't try to get another carrier then.

For delivery, they had told the recipient that they would be there in the afternoon. Again they arrived after dark and, while the recipient checked over the vehicle for major damage, she was unable to do a proper review because of the time and lack of light.

The damage was discovered once in light. Apparently the car had been packed in too close to the other cars, and the back bumper had two deep gashes from the screws on the license plate of the car behind mine rubbing for the whole drive.

There was also damage on the body near the front right wheel well. I don't know what it was from, maybe a poorly placed strap or restraint of some type.

I contacted by phone and emailed the pictures to ABMAutoTransport@yahoo.com, but I am unable to get any response. By phone, they tell me to email the photos, that they haven't received them, but I never get any returned mail saying I have the email address wrong. I've emailed them several times to make sure I had it right.

I hope this will help them realize they can't just ignore their customers after they get the money. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
