Dishonest tactic to get the business, double the price of shipment with add-ons

We called abc carriers to have our car transported from Tampa Fl to Plano/Dallas Tx. I spoke with Anthony and he quoted me $500.00 to get my business as I had several others quotes starting at $545.00 and he was eager to beat their price in order to get my business.

I decided to go with him and he sent me an order to sign. When I rec'd his order it came with a lot of stipulation. I asked him about it and he told me that it did not aplly to this order,not to worry and write a confirmation of our agreement of $500.00 when signing order.

The car was picked up by a towing company who was very incompetent and had minimal knowledge of a standard car and he wanted to collect money for pick-up. After disagreement he was told that we have an agreement to pay abc directly..

OnThursday the driver showed up 1 day early with the car and told us that we need to pay $920.00. We told him of the $500.0 quote, and signed order, he said that he does not work for abc carriers and that his company instructed him to collect $920.00 After many hours fighting we had to pay his demand to get the car released. IWhen I contacted Anthony and Al at abc carriers they were so rude and said you dont pay you dont get the car. They said you wanted the car shipped quickly it cost.

I am putting a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. These people are crooks. They have only been in business for a few months and hope they get shut down as they are the biggest dishonest people and fake and nice only when they want your business but so rude to hang up the phone and refused to talk and let your call go to voice mail when they know they skammed you.

I cannot get my money back as it says in their order that if you want your shipment done quickly that it will cost additional. They had agreed to pick it up at my requested time and never mentionned additional cost and they delivered early which was not asked or expected by me. They skammed me , the got their one time business and will make sure that others know of my experience with them. I suggest to others whom may want to use them to do their research. I did but a bit too late. I have read similar tactics on all the complaints they have against them. They are crooks please people stay away. They have your car and you are at their mercy.
