Car never picked up but refund refused

Place my order well in advance of my shipping date. Needed my car to arrived no later than August 6th, 2007. Placed my order on July 18th for July 23rd pickup. Was given the name of the trucking company to coordinate pickup for that date. Contacted them several times to determine the pickup time and did not get any confirmation until July 28th when a driver contacted me to tell me he wanted to pick up my car that evening. He never arrived and I called several time to determine when he would be there. Late that night he indicated that he would need to rest and would pick up the car between 10-11 on Sunday August 29th. He never arrived or called until that evening and indicated that he had "truck trouble". He asked if he could pick up the call on Tuesday August 31st. I had a flight out of town on Tuesday, so I arranged for another site to leave the car and keys for pickup on that day. It was not picked up...and left several messages with the driver. The trucking company indicated that he left for Pittsburg...then later we were told West Virginia, Ohio....who know where he really was but as of today, my car has been sitting in a lot waiting to be picked up and it is August 2nd.

When I signed the contract, AA Automovers guaranteed a 7-10 day delivery and when I contacted them with the fact that it is now 3 days before my guarantee delivery and I still have NO indication when my car will be picked up or delivered....they DID NOT CARE. I asked for a refund...since they have done NOTHING for me or compensation for a rental since they cannot meet the guaranteed date or even give me a pickup time and they refused. They will not follow through AND WILL ONLY TAKE YOUR MONEY. I have never written something like this but I also have NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BADLY. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY...EVER.

AA-Automovers did not guarantee a 7-10 day delivery. Our commitment to our customers is to locate a transport company that will pick up the vehicle within the dates agreed to with the customer. We don’t transport vehicles so we can’t and don’t make guarantees regarding delivery. Ms. Bailey’s transport company did have a delay (it was a driver issue) but the vehicle was picked up on 8/2/07 and Ms. Bailey released it to her transport company. This transport company delay has nothing to do with our service, which was provided appropriately to Ms. Bailey.
