I was looking for a transport company to ship a 1967 Mustang GT newly restored from San Diego, CA. to Maryland. I found AA Automovers, Inc. which was a broker located in NJ.

I called the broker and spoke with Neil to make arrangements for shipping. He sent me a list of companies that could do the transporting that they "Recommend" or on their sub-contracting list.

They assigned me a company out of Laguna Hills, CA., FHT Auto Transport, Inc and sent me an email confirming the assignment.

During the processing time with FHT Auto Transport I had to call AA Automovers to try and make contact with FHT. I called them several times to try and make contact with FHT to find out what was going on since I was in the dark as to the pickup dates, times, etc.

AA Automovers had very little information on the company and I was surprised that they would contract with someone and don't know the company all that well. I told Neil that I thought FHT was a one man operation and he said "Well, I spoke with a man and a woman but really don't know".

According to AA Automovers you (I) could make contact with them 24/7 however, I found out by my own initiative they (FHT Auto Transport, Inc.) are closed on the weekend and they don't return phone calls or emails. They were late in the pickup date and late in the actual pickup of the vehicle. Don't expect any customer service from FHT Transport, you won't get any.

My recommendation to the public when using AA Automovers, find out who they sub-contract with and get background information on that particular company before you use them. AA Automovers certainly will not help you in this category. Don't use them without satisfactory information.

Respectfully,
Lou Main

This claim is completely false in all respects. This order was handled appropriately by both AA-Automovers and the transport company. There was no late pickup or late delivery. The order was placed by Kirk Main, not Lou Main. Neil does not handle 'shipping arrangements'. Kirk Main placed his order with a transportation specialist, not Neil. No one sent a list of "recommended companies". The transport company assigned to the shipment is the only company name sent to Kirk Main. The vehicle was picked up 5/29 in MD and delivered 6/9 in CA. This was on time in all ways. This review makes no sense.
