I spoke with the sales person several times prior to booking the move with AA Automovers. He stated that the earlier I booked my move with them, the more time they would have to find a carrier that was available on the day I wanted (April 6). Through the process it became clear that nothing was done with my file until the day approached. The customer service person told us they would start working on it after April 1, which was not at all consistent with the information provided by the sales person. A carrier was assigned on April 7, and he called me before AA Automovers did. He picked up the car promptly but wanted to deliver it the next day when we would not be there. I called the AA Automovers customer service number for help in resolving the situation, and they have still not returned my phone call. We ultimately worked out a plan with the carrier and the carrier company to get the car dropped off at its location although we were not there to receive it. We were also able to pay by credit card by contacting the driver's company although we had to pay a $15 service fee. Bottom line is the car did get here, but I do not feel that this company provided any better service than anyone else. In the future, I would just contact carrier companies near me and see if I could cut out the middleman such as AA Automovers because our driver and his company was from our immediate area. In the future, I would try a different company. It may have the same results, but I see no reason to use this one again.
